Summary Says economy is not growing

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - PTI leader Salman Akram Raja has stressed the need to focus on education, democracy and economic reforms for the protection and progress of the country.

Speaking at a news conference, PTI leader Salman Akram Raja said the nation that spends $25 on education cannot compete with those that spend $425.

“China is investing 17 times more on education than us. How we will join the race. Our economy is not growing, it is in the ICU.

Despite presenting five budgets, the economy could not be taken out of the ICU. Nations develop not by selling stones, but by investing in people,” the PTI leader added.

Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar said life has become difficult for the low-income class, the government has failed to reduce its expenses, the budget cannot be successful without solving public problems, the tax and facility system should go hand in hand.

He added that despite heavy taxes, there is a lack of services, and the trust gap between the state and the people is growing.
